Earning is the RESPONSIBILITY of the earner.

Passively waiting for employers to hopefully address pay equity is an abdication of our financial responsibility.

Being uncomfortable talking about money and feeling shame about what we don't have is a massive source of emotional and energetic drain. There is a direct correlation between underearning and the amount of time and effort women spend overworking -- which only widens the pay deficit.
